Dasha is pursuing a PhD on Video-AI & Ethics at the Informatics Faculty, researching the questions most are avoiding. She explores ethics at the core of AI development, crafting pragmatic interventions, and bridging the gap between academia and practice, in one of the fastest growing application areas, video.

At IBM, as the Trustworthy AI SME for North Central Eastern Europe, she is advising various industries from operational to C-level. As a delegate board member of the AI ethics board, she facilitates governance and responsible development and implementation beyond compliance.

Because she enjoys the same problems in different fonts, as a member of Team Europe Direct, she supports the representation of the European Commission in the Netherlands with a focus on Trustworthy AI to enhance public awareness and enhance democratic participation.
